Who We Are

About LCCI

The Lesotho Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) was established in 1976 as a national, independent, and non-profit business association open to enterprises across all sectors of the economy. As the oldest and most representative private-sector body in Lesotho, LCCI brings together members from diverse industries and backgrounds under a shared commitment to advancing commerce and economic growth.

Over the years, the Chamber has grown from a purely consultative organization into a dynamic force in Lesotho’s socio-economic development. Guided by its founding principles, LCCI continues to champion and safeguard the interests of its members, while actively contributing to national dialogue and policy formulation.

Serving as the recognized voice of business in Lesotho, LCCI engages government, development partners, and stakeholders on all matters that influence the business environment, ensuring that the concerns and aspirations of the private sector are heard, respected, and addressed.
